For many Years I am testing and working on the construction of the traditional frame drums. They are made (the name suggests) out of a wooden frame with a stretched rawhide. This is very old/ancient technic. Shamans from all cultures use the constant sound of the frame drum beat - to fall into a trance. The magic smoothing sound of the drumbeat also invites the drummer into a kind of self-meditation. Something very special are my tunable framedrums.
